Whether she’s the success story of the year because of media coverage of her wild lifestyle, or because of her ability to craft great numbers, or her frequent nods to the soul and jazz worlds, or a combination of all three (most likely), Amy Winehouse has carved her own little niche in the pop world and is likely to stay there.
